Free violin practice tracks for all 60 Wohlfahrt studies, organised by étude number, beat type and tempo — from Aria’s Violin Studio in Auckland, New Zealand.
Franz Wohlfahrt’s 60 Studies for the Violin, Op. 45 are a well-known set of études used to build core violin technique. This free library is designed to make daily Wohlfahrt practice easier by putting the studies and play-along MP3 tracks in one place.
Choose a Wohlfahrt study below, then practise with the available crotchet or quaver pulse at different tempos. A slower track can help you settle intonation, rhythm, bow control and coordination before you move to a quicker tempo. The aim is simple: practise accurately first, then build fluency.
This Wohlfahrt violin practice library is part of the free Aria Violin Practice Library. I’ll continue expanding it with teaching guidance and performance videos as the project grows.
