How to play: Steven shows you a key signature and plays the tonic triad — work it out yourself, the way you learned in Level 8, Level 9 and Level 10! Then Steven plays the Submediant chord, built on the 6th note of that scale. Tap the matching notes from the 12-note keyboard, in any order, into their slots. The trick: the submediant always flips to the opposite quality of your key — a major key gives a minor vi, a minor key gives a major VI — no raised notes to catch you out here, though watch for the classic C♭ spelling in E♭ minor! If the key signature has sharps, use sharp names; if it has flats, use flat names. Get every note and Steven arpeggiates the submediant chord, reveals the tonic triad too, and celebrates!
